Add a door opener (Robin DROP1) to your Robin Compact IF external door entry phone and you can operate a door, gate or barrier remotely. This enables the Robin Compact IF to play an important role in access control. The door opener can be operated extremely simply via your phone keypad. The door opener consists of a free relay contact, which can be actuated remotely from any desired DTMF phone. The DROP1 can be used both as an end point and in combination with an external entry phone. When the door opener is called, the connection is established automatically, after which the user can actuate the relay using a DTMF phone. The DROP1 is powered from the mains and is actuated via a 2-core cable to a PABX connection. If the external door entry phone is used stand-alone, the relay can be actuated by means of a DTMF. The DTMF is actuated by means of a two-core cable on the PABX.
